SuperBier - Quick Selection Tool, Free Transform, Clone Stamp, Using Opacity with Brushes

  1. Click on the pictures of superman and Mr. Bier, save them and open them up in Photoshop
  2. Using the Magic Wand tool, select Mr. Biers head and neck only.
  3. With the move tool, transfer the head over the body of Superman
  4. Using free transform (CTRL + T), make the head the correct size by pulling on the corner with your mouse and holding down the SHIFT key (to keep image proportional).
  5. Use the Clone Stamp tool to get rid of the hair and replace it with the stars and stripes.
  6. Select the layer that the head is on (name it "head"), and click on Layer Mask on the bottom of the palette.
  7. Select the brush tool and change the opacity to 20% and brush the line between the neck and body.  Change it to 50% and repeat, and finally 100%.  This should smooth of the distinctive line between the body and the head.
  8. Save it as a SuperBier.psd file and a SuperBier.jpg file as well.
  9. As always, put your finished image on your Digital Media Web Page
